Perhaps you could consult with Kurt Gödel, the Austrian-born logician and mathematician who is quite well worded up on the subject....

Watch more time travel films and shows. This stuff will mess with your head.
Is it really called the grandfather paradox? Where if you went back in time and killed your grandfather, you wouldn't exist in order to come back and kill your grandfather, so you don't come back and kill you grandfather so he lives and you go back in time...
Or here's a fun one from my favorite video game. In the future you meet a guy playing a song. He sees you and gets all ticked off because you remind him of you seven years ago who played this wretched song. So you learn the song, go back in time, and teach it to him, so he'll remember you and teach it to you, so you can learn it and teach it to him, so he'll remember and teach it to you... Careful, don't think about it too much.
And then there's always Groundhog's Day.

Kayle, even better than that was one I read once. Involving a sex change more effective than those now available and some time travel, this fellow managed to be both him/herself and both his/her parents..... Can't remember the title, but I've got it somewhere. About time to trim the library again. Think I've reached 1500 books again....

O_o I'm going to stick with the music, the groundhog, and Sam.
How does that crazy song go? "I'm my own grandpa, I'm my own grandpa..."
