Are there no really large countries where this applies?
Buck and Flynn, why do you say Greece and Nepal? Did you read this somewhere? Is it total guesswork? Do you have a site that we can refer to?
One word answers out of the blue like that aren't convincing. Help me out here.

it doesn't have to be just milk... there's goats' cheese, soap made out of goats' milk, cajeta (mexican caramel... may I add it's delicious ... doesn't compare AT ALL to that american *cough cough*)
... I know your question was about drinking goats' milk but since the first part of the question is about human consumption not drinking it...
    yeah...

I was kind of waiting for Shady to comment on your misreading of apostrophes, Peasy.

We used to keep (and milk) a goat so I was interested to read that more goat milk is used than cow milk. I'm guessing Mexicans still milk cows more commonly than goats though eh, Luis?
Now can we stop acting the goat and have a proper go-at this one.

I was aware of the apostrophe gmack, dear, but was just making use of the wordplay made available before SOTHC got to it.

Besides, Shady knows that one more apostrophe nitpick and he'll be sporting a new pair of ear-rings compliments of his own bits and pieces...

I didn't doubt you were aware of it but you know Shady. In your culinary experience you must have tasted a bit of goat's milk or cheese, Peasy.

Oh yes, one of my pasta dishes uses Pecorino Crotonese as a main ingredient, along with Ricotta Calabrese both of which are made from goats milk.
