    		Yay Buck, although I think this fascinating character deserves a more expanded answer.
    This inventor made advances in talking pictures, burglar alarms, electric street lighting and sky projection, but all this was overshadowed by his (possibly deluded) claims to have invented a "death ray" that could stop motors and kill people at a distance.
