Since when have there been cargo carrying sparrows anyway? Sorry, Kayle.... The House Sparrow flies at 29-40 kmh (17-24 mph) according to http://www.garden-birds.co.uk/information/flight.htm The lower speed is presumably laden or against the wind.....

I've never seen a cargo carrying sparrow away. What kind of cargo? :) Wait, noun, gerund, direct object is actually... Sorry, English exam next week!
I've seen some birds hauling straw for their nest in the spring. The load was bigger than they were!
