John Lackland ruled England from 1199 till 1216. John I the Posthumous never ruled France because he died a few days after his birth but is reckoned among the Kings of France. "A pox on the phony king of England!" Ah, yes. :) I love that classic. I had a history teacher tell me it was pretty accurate. He said that they had one King John, and he was so bad they never had a second. That along with the song stuck the info with me that he was the only John to be king in England. Mar 13 05, 8:31 PM

England had one king known as Coeur de Lion but there was nearly another one as well. Who was he? Joe DiMaggio was given one, so too has the Queen of England, and a well known Italian film actress. Even a King of Belgium and a Pope were given one. The biggest one so far was given to an American President. What are they and which prince had a chocolate one made in his honour? Which king of England really had a hunchback? This woman was born of royalty, daughter of King Chilperic of Burgundy and wife of King Clovis of the Salian Franks. She had her husband converted to Christianity. After his death her sons fought over the kingdom. To escape the murder and hatred, she spent her last 34 years caring for the needy in Tours, France. She eventually bacame a saint. Perhaps someone could give me her name and spare me a patronage or two.
