    In an engineering drawing class at West Point, this cadet was to draw a bridge over a river, but included some boys fishing from the span. When instructed to get the boys off the bridge, he drew them fishing from the river bank, and when instructed to get them out of the picture, his final rendition showed little tombstones by the river. Who was this guy and did he graduate?

    James A. McNeill Whistler. No he never graduated. One site says he was tossed out for this. However other sites say he was kicked out for failing chemistry.
