I am looking for a word beginning with 'o' that means the gap between eyebrows without much success.

I found this for the space between the eyebrows, but it seems I've heard it called something else too.
gla·bel·la
n., pl. -bel·lae (-bel'e).The smooth area between the eyebrows just above the nose

Maggie Simpson's monobrowed nemesis did come to mind when I asked the question.
McGruff has come very close to answering this one...

I beg to differ. Not that ophryon was not the intended answer, but as the definition for ophryon clearly states it is above the glabella, "The point on the midline of the forehead just above the glabella," and the definition for glabella or mesophryon states "between the eyes" I don't think they're the same place, and someone with a monobrow still has a visible ophryon, but a hairy and hidden mesophryon.
