    Everyone always asks about the oldest living people, but what's the record for the longest lived person(s) ever?

    That's 969 years old.
    (Disclaimer: I realize that some may not accept this documentation. I do not wish to debate the topic, only to present the information.) :D

    		The oldest person in medically recorded history was Jean Clement of Arles, France. She died in 1997, at the age of 121 years (I think, if my memory still serves me). To the last days of her life she remained alert and aware, and even recalled selling colored pencils to Van Gogh when she was 15.
