Yay TT! Now can you tell me why it is not on its usual date of March 25th and how was April 4th arrived at?

Well, March 25 is Good Friday this year.

There’s an official ranking of the feasts of the Church, and rules for what to do when two or more coincide. I believe the ranking was simplified somewhat by Vatican II, but Good Friday, as one of the real biggies, takes precedence over the Annunciation (Lady Day), and the rules apparently prescribe that when Lady Day falls within Holy Week, its celebration is transferred to the Monday after the octave of Easter (i.e. the day immediately after Low Sunday, which this year is April 4).

That'll do for me TT. Isn't it strange how the Friday Christ is crucified is Good but the Sunday after He has risen is Low?

    Brewer: Low sunday
The Sunday next after Easter; so called because it is at the bottom of the Easter which it closes
