RP Rowe was the brother of GD Rowe and he was the father of RG Rowe and AD Rowe. What has this sporting family done nine times between them?

    Oxford v Cambridge boat race:
colectively they were a member of (the captain of) the winning crew nine times.

(on the basis George Duncan Rowe is the GD Rowe in the question)

Yay Gtho4! GD won it in 1879 and 1880, RP in 1889,1890,1891 and 1892, AD in 1948/9 and RG in 1937.
There are a few families that have more than one member that has taken part, but few as appropriately named. I mean RP Rowe rowed four in a row!

Where would I find information on the life and works of the portrait painter Louise Jopling Rowe (1843-1933)?

Can anyone identify a poem about a young man caring for his father, as his father is old and weakened by illness? There is something about his father with his arms out, swinging the son as a child, possibly comparing the father to a tree, and the words "it's alright Dad" or maybe "it's ok Dad" are repeated several times. I've been trying to find it for years now with no success.

Is it a half-brother or sister if they have the same mother? Like, if your brother has the same mother as you, but a different father, is he still your 'half' brother? A child with the same father and a different mother is a half, correct?
