I just noticed that there is a Major League Baseball team named the Washington Nationals, I do not remember there being such a team, when did this happen, and also were any teams kicked out of the Major League because of this? I know this is not a quiz question but, could somebody point me in the right direction to find a starting point for genealogy research. I live in England but because of circumstances cannot get out to search library records etc. Are there databases online where I can get information from. I do know about the 1901 census site. Thanks?
