    Which ring in the Olympic flag is assigned to represent Oceania: green, blue, red or yellow?

    		Colourful explanations abound concerning the symbolism of the coloured rings. Indeed, the number five refers to the number of continents, but no ring is identified with any continent. Also the colours together symbolize those found on most flags, but no single colour symbolizes anything in particular. All other explanations are totally fanciful interpretation post-facto and totally wrong.

    		Um, there are 7 continents. The colored rings are simply to represent the colors found on all the national flags throughout the world.
