What are some relatively healthy or filling foods that can be stored without refrigeration, nor requires microwaving or heating, just something I can keep in my room and eat late at night without having to go anywhere or do anything to it, yet can satisfy a meal, is there such a thing?

The Israeli army went to great lengths to come up with such a thing, a food that could theoretically last forever in a can or a jar without the need for refrigeration. The result was called "luf". Technically speaking, it is canned meatloaf. Soldiers eventually get used to it, though they don't generally admit it. Most will publicly tell you it's cat food in disguise. But it is nutritious, and stores well.
Another product, not at all the property of the Israeli military, is gefilte fish. Generally it is stuffed carp or whitefish. Kept sealed in a jar, it has an infinite shelf life. Once you open it, you should eat its contents within two or three days, maybe four or five if you refrigerate it. I never went a weekend without it in New York.

I don't know. Bananas are going extinct. Besides, have you ever eaten a fruit that was 100 years old?

Dried fruits -- apricots, raisins, dried apples, etc. are quite good, and so are certain crackers. I lived on Triscuits while writing my doctoral dissertation. They are high in fat, but also high in fiber. Someone suggested peanut butter, which I also loved, but it, too, is high in fat. How do you feel about canned vegetables? I like to eat asparagus right out of the can, when the fresh vegetable isn't available. (I don't recommend that for peas and carrots.) And fresh fruit is always terrific, of course, but if you are pressed for time and money, as I was in school, you can't go wrong with flavored instant oatmeal, using water heated in your electric kettle or something similar.

From camping shops, you can get self-heating meals in bags. Not cheap, but nourishing and hot with no effort.
