What are the state flowers of every state of the USA? Why bother having them?

It's better than some Americans. I've talked to a few who think Leeds is in London and Wales is on the continent. I hate the way that some Americans treat Canada. I've known a few who just can't accept that Canada is bigger than the USA. Apr 05 05, 3:27 PM

The only one I know is the state flower of my home state of Ohio: the red carnation. And I don't blame you for your sickness. Every time my parents dragged me off to an Ohio State football game, I was required to sit in the stands holding a red carnation that my mother had purchased for me. Years later, I said to her, "You know, I really hate red carnations." Her reply? "Oh, I can't stand them either." Does anyone else have bad state flower stories? Apr 05 05, 5:08 PM
