Don't be such a woosie, mibs; there are all kinds of beans in the world. First thing that comes to mind to me is succotash, which uses corn and green beans as the main ingredients. Southern renditions include red bell peppers and lots of onion.

Definitely succotash. However, I've always wondered, what is the origin of the name? Is it a Native-American word?
P.S. to robboy: where I come from, soccotash was made with corn and lima beans.

You're absolutely right, lanfranco. I had limas pictured and wrote green beans instead. Also forgot the tomatoes we like down here. Succotash is indeed a Native American word, derived from the Naragansetts of the upper east coast.
