I think you are referring to American architecture from 1900-1917. However, there were really two important periods of classical revival architecture in America, the first taking place from 1818-1850. The second is better described as the Beaux Arts period, since it begins around 1885 and ends about 1920. Daniel Burnham, architect of the White City at the 1893 World's Fair, was a good representative of this era.
