I guess the phrase "Make haste slowly" would be the connection.
Publisher Aldo Manuzio or (Aldus Manutius) founded the Aldine Press. All of Manutius' books feature the mark of Aldine Press. The mark of the Anchor and Dolphin is an impresa, a form of pictorial puzzle. It means "Make haste slowly," which was a saying taken from the Emperor Augustus. The anchor represents slowness and the dolphin represents speed.
The Anchor and Dolphin design, first appeared as an illustration in the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili, the first edition of which was published in December 1499.

Yay, peasy! Both Augustus and Aldus, founder of the first modern press in Venice, did love the motto "festina lente." According to Erasmus, the anchor and dolphin colophon was taken by Aldus from a coin of Vespasian, who was also rather fond of this saying.
Now, peasy, I was planning to use the HP in a question, in which I'd offer the publication date as one clue. Oh, well.
