    It's time someone had a stab at this I suppose.
    In Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", Romeo spent his banishment in Mantua, the home of Virgil. Virgil is, of course, a central figure of the "Hell" and "Purgatory" parts of Dante Alighieri's "The Divine Comedy".
