When and where was the first women's cricket World Cup held?

Question #56886. Asked by shady shaker. (Apr 25 05 5:44 AM)

I hadn't realized that such a thing had ever taken place, so I looked it up. The first women's cricket World Cup took place in England, in 1973, with the final match, between England and Australia, being held in Edgbaston.
