Who was known as the Viking of the Sierras?

    Question #56916. Asked by dejavucub4. (Apr 26 05 3:27 PM)

Snowshoe Thompson? This site describes him as "the Soaring Eagle of the Sierras," but it mentions his Norwegian and "Viking" background. Does this answer your earlier question, too?
