The story I've heard, and this site seems to confirm it, is that Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker were supposed to be the cream of the crop among musicians. I've always believed that of Clapton.

I understand the group is reuniting.

Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker were supposedly the cream of the crop at the time. But before that they also considered calling themselves Sweet n Sour Rock n Roll.
