    Tonight Israel begins its Memorial Day. With such a high percentage of Israelis who have fought in this country's wars, the day takes on a very personal nature to many people in this country. How many people are recognized as casualties of war in Israeli history? And how many of those died since the last Memorial Day?

    		As Memorial Day is about to be over, I'll answeer this one myself. Israel recognizes 20,369 fallen soldiers as casualties of the various wars in history, of them 163 died in the last year.
