I'm visiting the San Francisco Bay area. I'm riding BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) but want to visit San Jose, California. What station would I most likely exit?

    Question #57172. Asked by dejavucub4. (May 12 05 3:10 PM)

Not being a native, this is probably way off mark but here goes...

It seems BART doesn't go right through to San Jose at present but there are plans for an extension apparently. So, if you're cruising on BART you have to get off at the Millbrae Transit station and catch a CalTrain to San Jose.

I should pay a little attention here, I could well be in that neck of the woods in a few weeks..

That would work but bart runs a free bus through east bay transit from Fremont station.

A free bus? Why would they do that? The only free buses we have here are the ones that go from the city to the Casino....
