    It would be surprising if there were only one. Anyway "cordwainers" made shoes from Cordoban leather aka cordwain.
    Cambric was a fine white linen made in Cambrai, in Northern France. So I bet there was a cambric trade, just as well as there was a delft trade, a Limoges and a Meissen trade.

    I'll admit that I didn't think the possible answers that could be given through but I was referring to a trade that was itself named after the city not what was traded.
    Rick had the one I was thinking of, namely millinery which took its name from Milan. Flemish's "cordwainers" also sounds reasonable.
