Once there were over 1000 of these on the world but now there are less than ten. I do not know the answer and this is all the information I have been given so far about this trivia question

there are lots of animals that are severely endangered like the Indiana bat (1 left, people disturbed their caves too much), Key deer (1 left), San Joaquin kit fox (1 left, a nocturnal animal), Florida Panther, Small Kawai Thrush, and other stuff im too lazy to think about.
It's actually kind of sad i didn't get to know about this until there's only one of them left.
However, you'll have to look up the history to find out what was their population in the past. im too lazy.
