The flag is not to be used as an item of clothing, or for advertizing pureposes. The flag should not be touching anything below it, such as the ground. When the flag has deteriorated beyond repair, it is to be desposed of reverantly (usually by burning).

No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America, except during church services conducted by naval chaplains at sea, when the church pennant may be flown above the flag during church services for the personnel of the Navy.

Thanks, At Medford Oregons federal and state funded unemployment office,inside there was an American flag below the flag of Mexico.When flag etiquette was been brought to there attention they removed both flags.This is still not correct flag etiquette but managements attempts to appease the mostly hispanic work force there.I am not prejudice but try that in with our flag in a foriegn country in any other place but an embassy and youll get tarred and feathered, if your lucky.
