Does anyone have any other wierd sayings like "I'd give my eyeteeth for",or, "they were just milling around",etc, and is there a website to find the origins of such sayings?

My grandfather used to say that he hadn't seen someone or something "in a 'coon's age," meaning, for some strange reason, a very long time. The following site offers many interesting English idioms.
