The Wahhabi is a stricter more puritanical form of Sunni Islam that does not acceept any customs, traditions or other changes to the religion that it claims were adopted after about the year 950 CE. For example, this means no wearing of charms, praying at the graves of saints and no celebration of Allah's birthday (in Wahhabi worship of anyone but Allah is polytheism). It is the principal form of Sunni practiced in Saudi Arabia.
Some sources say that Osama bin Ladin is a Wahhabist, but some regard him as part of a breakaway sect called Qutbrism.

Change the relevant bits in that last post to "accept" and "Mohammed's birthday" and it should make more sense.
