Why do pregnant women have an increased need to pee almost immediately after conception?
Question

During the first three months of pregnancy, hormonal changes plus the uterus growing in size put increased pressure on the bladder. During the final three months, the baby has grown and moved down into the pelvis so it leans on the bladder, making the woman feel like she needs to go more often even when she doesn't.

Thanks for the input! I didn't know the answer. My hubby and I are trying to get pregnant and I think I might be because of the frequent urinating. He said the baby can't be big enough to put any pressure on my bladder and I said I thought it was hormonal. Guess it's time to pee on a stick!!

You go pee on a stick, that'll tell you for sure but the change of texture in your hair (smooth or frizzy), the tender breasts, and the change of skin type (oily or dry) would also ring some bells...and the urge to vomit. ;)
