Old Sam kissed just about everything female he could get his hands on, as I recall. However, the body of Catherine of Valois, Queen of Henry V, was put on display, and Pepys kissed her (it?) on his 36th birthday.
Claire Tomalin's recent biography of Pepys, "The Unequalled Self," is a great read.
