Which is not actually a country, it's an area of northern Czech which also spills into Poland and Germany, hence Bohemia and Moravia.

Which IS not actually a country any longer, but which WAS a country in Shakespeare's time, and is also described as such by him.In the definition of http:// www.brittanica.com Bohemia is a "historic country of central Europe that was a kingdom in the Holy Roman Empire and subsequently a province in the Habsburgs' Austrian Empire." The subsequent creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918 and the separation of the Czechoslovak Republic into Czechia and Slovakia in 1993 are relatively recent developments.
