John Ford won Oscars for "The Informer," "The Grapes of Wrath," "How Green Was My Valley" and "The Quiet Man," but not for any of his well-known Westerns (he was nominated for "Stagecoach" in 1939 but lost out to Victor Fleming, the director of "Gone With The Wind.")
The 17th-century dramatist John Ford is best known for a play about the guilty passion of a brother and sister. I don't know whether the censor will let me give the title, but I'll try: "Tis Pity She's A Whore."

Of course that's a yay TT. Here in the UK "Tis Pity" is on many children's exam syllabuses which seems a little odd given its subject matter.
Yet when did you last hear of "Pericles", Shakespeare's play involving incest being performed? Or are there other reasons why that play is little known?
