The spotted cat's ear (Hypochaeris radicata) is often mistaken for the dandelion . (That is the closest I can get to feline for the second plant up to now)

Yay SM. The dandelion being, of course, named after the French "dent de lion" meaning lion's tooth.
The cat's ear is also called the false dandelion and is similar right down to the changing into a flower full of airblown seeds and having milky sap.
Unlike the dandelion, however, the cat's ear is all edible.

I was rather captivated by the "Pussytoes" (genus Antennaria), with this nice botanical illustration.
There is also supposedly a woolly-headed plant in Australia (genus Anigozanthus), called the "Cat's Paw" or "Kangaroo Paw."
