    Which little-known state has been struggling to become a free country and has more or less the same issues that once plagued Ireland?

    		Given kashmiri's name, I wonder whether this question refers to Jammu & Kashmir, which is split between areas of Indian and Pakistani control. The majority Muslims wish to be free of India; the Hindus do not. In any event, the Kashmiris in general would like to determine their own political ties and future. This is a complicated issue, and I don't pretend to detailed knowledge of it, but here's a site:

    		The Kashmir and Basque regions aren't really little-known states.
