These aren't great, but here goes: Buffy the Vampire Slayer American Graffitti went to TV as Happy Days Stalag 13 went to TV as Hogan's Heroes Back to the Future went to TV as an animated series. Seems more went from TV to big screen. At least that's all kept coming up with. Starsky & Hutch, Charlie's Angels, Twilight Zone, to name a few. Jun 22 05, 2:27 PM

For some reason beyond me that link isn't working. Click on it and in search type "Movies that became". This should give two lists. Click on the one that obviously gives movies that became TV shows. And "Fame" was a film originally before becoming a TV series with four of the original film's stars. In the TV series Erica Gimpel sang Irene Cara's famous theme song. Jun 22 05, 3:56 PM

And yet another that isn't in that list of 30, I believe "Men In Black" has been spun into a cartoon series. The only TV series in that list that I've actually seen are "Buffy", "M#A#S#H", "Nikita", "Highlander", "Bill and Ted", "Planet of the Apes" and "Ghostbusters". If we are counting "Happy Days" and "Hogan's Heroes" then I must also add "Dixon of Dock Green", spun from "The Blue Lamp". What about "The Pink Panther Show"? Have we mentioned "The Odd Couple" which was based on a film based on a play? It may be easier to base a film on several series worth of TV material than to make a whole TV series from a film but there have still been quite a few.
