The American Film Institute has just released its list of the top 100 lines from American movies. What classic warning, spoken by a famous leading lady in a film about professional rivalry and treachery, appears on this list?

    Question #57890. Asked by lanfranco.

    MrsAce

Bette Davis in All About Eve:

"Fasten your seatbelts, we're in for a bumpy night."

    Brilliant, MrsAce.

That line is #9 on the list, preceded by "May the Force be with you," and followed by "You talking to me?"

#1 is, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn," and #100 is, deservedly, in my opinion, "I'm king of the world!"

Don't misunderstand, fluff. The Titanic line is LAST on the list. I'm surprised it's there at all.

However, if you're referring to the list in general, blame the AFI.

Oh. Now I want to be alone.

That was #79 on the list. Sorry couldn't resist.

"Pussy Galore I must be dreaming". That's not there?
"Damn you. Damn you all to hell!"

It depends on how I feel.
I have a signed Mark Messier hockey stick, a nine-iron and a pool cue in my house.
A hockey stick used to be my bread-and-butter, but a signed one is too precious to use on a burglar.
