Stephen Hawking suggests that there is no "point" that the origin is curved. However since the origin then expands, there is no "residual origin" (to which I guess the question refers). The "origin" has spread to encompass the entire universe. In this respect there is no unique point of the universe, every point is equally primordial (under this model). Jun 28 05, 7:12 AM
