As I understand it, Braun was given a cyanide capsule. The physician whom she and Hitler consulted told her to bite down on the capsule as soon as she heard the pistol shot. I think I recall that from Hugh Trevor-Roper's book on the last days in the bunker, but I can't be certain. Jun 28 05, 3:48 PM
