    Yes, two different planes with two different pilots dropped the big bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

    To answer gmack's question, then Group Captain Cheshire, acting as an RAF observer and Churchill's representative, was flying on a second plane carrying scientific and photographic equipment when the Nagasaki bomb was dropped.
