This word is given to type of evergreen shrub and also to a marine animal. However, there is a third meaning of the word. What is the word, and how does it connect to a TV character?

Question #58419. Asked by peasypod. (Jul 19 05 4:48 PM)

Finally figured out at least part of this one...it's been bothering me for awhile! But, since I know diddly-squat about entertainment, I need help with the last part...

    Here's what I think...

The evergreen shrub is a periwinkle (genus Vinca.)

The marine animal is a periwinkle- a type of snail.

The third meaning is probably periwinkle as a violet-blue color. Any hints as to the TV connection?

Nice One crisw, that's a Silver Banana for you. ;) Periwinkle it was, but maybe I might help out a bit and remind everyone of the cat on Blue's Clues, Periwinkle.

Glad I caught this one in the recent replies when I did, otherwise you may have waited eons for your yay, that is, if it had slipped past the bottom of the page into the dark crypts of the unknown recent replies dungeon...
