Who is the Country singer who sings the song that starts out with "I can stay awake just to hear you breathing" and the chorus starts out with "I don't wanna close my eyes, I don't want to fall asleep tonight, because I miss you"?

This is not a country song. This is "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith, from the soundtrack to "Armageddon."

Strange, I always thought that Lonestar sang that? I can never tell the difference between musiciens. Of course, except Micheal Jackson and Elvis Presley.

I Don't Want to Miss a Thing was written by Diane Warren and probably came to prominence when used in the soundtrack of Armageddon in 1998 as recorded by Aerosmith. It has been recorded by a number of artists, including Mark Chestnutt on a 1999 album of the same title.

I'll add that "Armageddon" starred Aerosmith's Steve Tyler's daughter Liv.

Also, the writer Diane Warren has a good pop track record having written "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us" by Starship and "If I Could Tun Back Time" for Cher.
