I Don't Want to Miss a Thing was written by Diane Warren and probably came to prominence when used in the soundtrack of Armageddon in 1998 as recorded by Aerosmith. It has been recorded by a number of artists, including Mark Chestnutt on a 1999 album of the same title. http://www.allmusic.com is a good reference site when looking for this kind of information.
