    		Surviving potassium cyanide poisoning, being shot 4 times in the head and chest, being beaten about the head with a dumb-bell handle and thrown in icy cold waters just shows he was made of steel, or else his attackers had lousy aim.

    I guess he must have drowned. This should tell you exactly what happened on the night of Dec 29, 1916.
