    What countries/territories use the Pound Sterling (GBP) as their official currency?

    In addition to the UK, the Channel Islands. Don't know about Gibraltar and the other remaining colonies. Probably, also, the sovereign bases on Cyprus.

    No. Only the UK, the Channel Islands, the Cyprus bases, and other tiny territories and possessions that do not have sufficient people to have their own domestic governments.

    Correct answer should be: Just the UK, the British Indian Ocean Territory, South Georgia & The South Sandwich Islands and maybe the British Virgin Islands. The latter I believe have changed to the US $, though.

    Guernsey uses the Guernsey Pound (GGP), Jersey uses the Jersey Pound (JEP), the Isle of Man uses the Isle of Man Pound (IMP), Gibraltar uses the Gibraltar Pound (GIP).
