Who's sons (that were princes) were mentioned in the classic story of Robin Hood?

    Question #58531. Asked by princess9.

    lanfranco

In the Robin Hood stories, King Richard I (who had no children) is usually away fighting in the Crusades, and his brother, the problematic Prince John (then John I), is running England. Both Richard and John were the sons of King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine.

This site says that some of the early printed ballads refer to a "King Edward."
