Theres more than one then? There was 30+ mile long wood flume that provided water from the Calaveras watershed to the town of Niles Ca.in the 1800s.Later it was rebuilt from concrete, algea and fast water made for a fun ride ,for safety reasons it was covered, now overgrown and hidden in the trees very few remember it, if you can find it you can walk the secret sidewalk through the east bay hills south east of San Francisco Cal.
