In "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" how much of the script is the same as in "Willy Wonker and the Chocolate Factory"?

Much of the script is intact, however a huge part of the original script has been removed, the part where Charlie and Grandpa are left to float in the bubble machine.
This was chopped from the script by Burton as he felt that the scene was not neccesary, much to Gen Wilder's chagrin.
