According to the site below, it's Enid Blyton, of all people. However, if you're considering only books for adults, Barbara Cartland produced hundreds (O.K., maybe her books aren't exactly for "adults"), while Georges Simenon probably wrote as many mysteries as Christie did, plus hundreds of non-Maigret books.
