    This park, known for its unusual rock formations, has the east side of its valley about 300 miles to the south. What is the park's name, and why is the other half of these formations 300 miles away?

    		Pinnacles national park, California. 1/2 is on the west side and 1/2 of the matching formations are about 300 miles south on the east side of the San Andreas fault.
