Since this non-existant recent replies thingy hinders questions from being answered effectively and clutters up space with un-answered questions in the data base, I guess I'll give out a little clue so someone might happen to stumble on the answer....
It is an annual herb with light green leaves and small white flowers, and was quite a hit in the gardens of Charlemagne.
