Can you name the 2001 film in which the main character and the title of the film are the same? Hint, two words, 9 and 4 letters.

    Question #59843. Asked by base_hex.

I had to research this one some and found several that *might* fit the criteria, but they had other words in the title, i.e. "Bridget Jones Diary", "Captain Corelii's Violin", etc. I even considered "Hannibal" but not for sure if he was considered the *main* character--so, I settled on "Donnie Darko" That fits the question! (not for sure what the hint is)

That'll be "Charlotte Gray" starring Cate Blanchett as a Scottish woman who joins the French Resistance in World War II to rescue her RAF boyfriend.
